Green Schools

Last year the pupils in Scoil Naomh Iosef and the Green Schools Committee worked extremely hard to achieve our 6th Green Flag for the theme ‘Global Citizenship; Litter and Waste. This year we have started work on attaining our 7th Green Flag for the theme ‘Global Citizenship; Energy’.

Our committee are working together with school co-ordinator Mr. Murphy and Miss Nolan to further reduce the consumption of energy within the school while also looking at energy consumption at a global level.

keep an eye on this page to see all the work the children will be doing to help earn our 7th Green Flag.
