The boys and girls in the infant classroom have been very busy preparing for Easter. They made some lovely Easter cards and art 🎨. For their STEM activity they made a structure using only playdough and cocktail sticks that had to balance a little chick or egg. They had great discussions looking at all the structures and investigating why they worked or didn’t work.
On Thursday, they returned to the classroom after break to discover all the chocolate eggs and treats that they had been using for exploring weight had disappeared. Their friend ‘Buddy’ the puppet hid them all, which meant they had to go on a big egg hunt using the maps left for them. They even found a real bird’s egg in their search. The had egg-cellent fun 🥚 🐣.
