On Thursday our Active Schools challenge took us to our local GAA field, where Mr. Stokes had hidden letters around the field and stand. We were put into teams of three and had to try to gather as many letter as we could. We had to work as a team and encourage each other on.
When we had our letters gathered we then had to make as many words as we could, the team that reached the quota first were then 1st in line for the ‘Star Prize’. When all the teams had reached the quota we lined up and were given a clue as to where the ‘Star Prize’ was hidden each team then ran to find the prize.
We had great fun and worked excellently as teams. We encouraged each other on and most importantly, had fun and got active!!
