Ancient Rome

3rd and 4th class have studied Ancient Rome in history recently. The pupils learned all about the Roman Empire and the magnificent architecture of the time. Did you know that it was the Romans who invented concrete? Many of the buildings and structures are still to be seen today. The pupils learned about the roads, aqueducts and arches created by the Romans. They also looked at the Colosseum and created models of it in clay.
