Balloon powered cars

Third and fourth class have been learning about forces and different forms of energy in Science. They got an opportunity to put some of their learning into practice when they made ‘Balloon Powered Cars’ in class this week. As the air gushed from the balloon it propelled the car forward. Some impressive distances were recorded. One pupil added a second balloon for extra power and speed.
