Congratulations and best wishes to Muiris McCarthy and Ben Lenihan from 6th class who have been selected to represent our school in Primary Game and INTO Mini Sevens. Muiris will play at half time in this weekend’s Munster Hurling Final between Limerick and Clare in the Gaelic Grounds. Muiris has played with both the West Limerick School’s football and hurling teams in the Sarsfield Cup and Mackey Cup this year. Ben Lenihan will represent Limerick at half time in the All Ireland football semi final on Saturday July 15th in the INTO Mini Sevens exhibition game. Ben captained our school’s team to success in the West Limerick Mini Sevens earlier this year and was also a member of the Sasfield Cup winning team for West Limerick. We wish both boys every luck on their big days and we congratulate their families on their success.
