On Friday the 17th June, Mr. Seán Kelly (M.E.P.) visited our school to raise the flag earned by 5th & 6th class this year. The children in 5th and 6th class learned all about European countries, cultures, languages and geography. They completed some lovely projects and held a Europe Day for all the pupils and staff in the school to enjoy. Mr. Kelly spoke to the children about the importance of being part of the European Union and how we as citizens can help both our country and the union in a variety of different ways. We are thrilled and proud to have our European flag flying high alongside our other accolades achieved over the years. We would like to thank Mr. Kelly for taking the time out of his very busy schedule to come and visit us.
