Fifth and Sixth Class is a very busy classroom! We lots of learning taking place through all sorts of fun games and activities.
We are extremely grateful for a recent donation of some really fantastic books – a full set of Harry Potter Books, some Famous Five and Nancy Drew, lots of Holly Webb and David Walliams books and much, much more! There are many avid readers in our classroom who are devouring their way through our new extended class library!
The children also recently completed cross curricular projects on China. The children learned about the history of China, the Chinese Dynasty’s. In Geography we looked at the physical and social Geography of China. We were very interested in learning about the impact of Communism on the country. We looked at the culture of China and created paper Dragons. We used the website EPIC to access more texts about China. Leo also taught his classmates lots about China.
