Our school halla was packed to the rafters on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th of December. We hope that all who joined us, enjoyed the night. The children were outstanding!! Junior and Senior Infants recalled the story of the very first Christmas through a bed-time story, while Mr. Murphy’s Class gave us a new appreciation for all that we have at Christmas , First and Second Class had a mystery Christmas Tree decorator while 5th and 6th Class performed excerpts from the classic story of A Christmas Carol.
There were also wonderful prizes on the night and we greatly appreciate those of you who supported the raffle. The great prizes were donated by the following sponsors:
Meaney’s Centra Weener Plastics Drom/Broadford GAA John Cregan & County Board (GAA)
Byrnes and Dillon Oil O’Connor’s Butchers Hair Square Brudair’s Bakery
Twomey’s Bakery Moss Kiely Building Supplies Cahill’s Cheese ( Eileen Noonan / Carmel Scollard)
Russell’s Restaurant Mc Carthy Family
We are extremely thankful that you chose to support our school at this busy time and we encourage our wider school community to support these businesses in return.
Thanks also Emma Browne and Niamh Mc Carthy who assisted us on both nights and to all those parents that volunteered on the doors, selling tickets, assisting with parking and security etc. We could not host such enjoyable occasions without volunteers.
