On Wednesday 15th February everyone in Scoil Naomh Iosef made a huge effort to participate in our Day of Action. We checked the electricity meter in the morning and again in the afternoon. We managed to keep our usage for the day to just 11 units which was more than a 50 percent reduction. All pupils wore non-uniform to raise money for the disaster struck area in Turkey and Syria. €275 was successfully raised and donated on behalf of the pupils to those affected by the earthquake. 5th and 6th class displayed their projects on renewable energy and the other classes undertook lessons on saving energy and learning about the Global Goals.
