Hidden Histories

Fifth and sixth class working with Tadgh Crowley from the Glucksman museum in UCC. Fifth and sixth class were very lucky to be one of the three only schools to be chosen to work with artist Dara McGrath on his project Hidden Histories which celebrates the centenary of Irish women’s right to vote. We have 2 beautiful photographs of ‘Dorothy’ and ‘Larry’ hanging in our classroom which the children regularly refer to for different activities. We are looking forward to Dara’s visit on February 27th for more interesting projects based on women in our lives.
