Prior to the school closing for the summer holidays on June 27th, two special visitors to our school assisted the Green Schools Committee with an important job. This is our 7th Green Flag. Mr Murphy, Green Schools Co-Ordinator referenced on the day that this indicates our school has been involved with the Green Schools initiative now for 14 years. All the children who have been members of the Green Schools committees down through the years must be commended for this successful long service. Robbie Lynch, the first Broadford Utd. player to play League of Ireland football and Katie Lawlee, Irish U17 international player were on hand to raise the flag. Well Done to all involved.
