5th & 6th Class took part in this year’s Science Blast initiative. The class came up with lots of different questions that we could investigate and chose a final one. We decided on ‘Do our other senses affect our taste?’ The class held a number of surveys and investigations in which they explored the affect of the particular sense on our sense of taste. We had great fun eating lots of different tasing food and seeing the affect it had on our taste. We had even more fun when we got to test it out on the teachers.
Our findings showed us that our sense of smell has the biggest impact on our sense of taste.
