Science Week Fun

3rd and 4th Class got Science Week off to a great start with some experiments involving balloons. The pupils each were given a skewer and a balloon. The challenge was to pierce the balloon with the skewer without it exploding. We used petroleum jelly to help ease the skewer through the balloon. This was followed by a balancing challenge on table supported by balloons. Pupils were amazed that the balloons were able to support the two pupils standing on the upturned table.
