The pupils from Scoil Naomh Iosef took part in the National Walk to School Week from the 24th to 28th of May. The Green Schools Committe took a tally of their classroom each morning to see how many children walked to school. It was a huge success with over 89% of the whole school walking to school all week!
It was great to see so many happy smiling faces as they made their way to school each morning while reducing their carbon footprint. It great to see some parents joining in on the challenge too. There was also reduced numbers of cars in the staff car park as the staff also took part in the challenge. Well done to all involved!
