Scoil Naomh Iosef boys created history on Monday 21st November when they won the West Limerick INTO Cumann na mBunscoil Mini Sevens Football competition in Mick Neville Park. Playing four games on the way to becoming champions of West Limerick, our boys defeated Shauntrade of Adare in the first match. Next up was Shanagolden and victory in this game set up a clash against Broadford in the semi final. This proved to be the toughest match of the day with some brilliant combination play and score-taking contributing to victory and a place in the final. In the final our boys proved worthy champions with a comprehensive win over Askeaton. The boys will now represent West Limerick in the county semi final on Tuesday 6th December.
