The 6th class boys from Dromcollogher NS representing Limerick had great success at the Munster stages of the FAI Primary 5s last Wednesday. The boys, who were county champions in the A category of the competition were victorious over Clare and Cork in the group stages of the competition to progress to the semi-final. This game v Tipperary proved a very tight encounter and the teams could still not be separated following extra time. Penalties followed where the boys prevailed. Kerry were to be the opponents in the final and following a great game our boys were deserving Munster Champions. The panel of 8 boys is as follows : Anthony Cashman, Calum Curtin, Patrick Cotter, Ben Lenihan, Muiris Mc Carthy, Tiernan O’Flynn, Anthony Pierce and Stephen Pierce. Congratulations to the boys and their mentors Mr Michael Murphy and Mr Jason Stokes on this wonderful achievement. The team will now participate in the National Finals in the Aviva Stadium on May 31st.
