We were delighted to recently Mayor Francis Foley to Dromcollogher. Mayor Foley is the Mayor of Limerick City and County Council. He was elected to the role of Mayor by his fellow Councillors for a one year term last June. Mayor Foley explained all about the work that Councillors do, how one can become a councillor and how you can become the Mayor. The boys and girls were very impressed by his official chain of office. This chain is over 800 years old and valued at 3 million euro!
