Wellbeing

In order to promote positive mental health and well-being at Scoil Naomh Iosef, we have decided to take part in the Amber Flag Initiative.

This involves the whole school community coming together in other to create a safe, positive and healthy attitude towards our general physical and mental health and well-being.

We have some great ideas on how to do this. We hope you enjoy reading about how we promote well-being in our school.

The most Thoughtful Class in Scoil Naomh Iosef…

Well done to Mr. Murphy's 3rd/4th Class who are the most thoughtful class in the whole school. Over the past month, Mr/ Murphy's class have completed over 150 acts of kindness. 3rd/4th have well and truly earned a day off homework! Well done guys.

Mindfulness Monday

In the months of November and December the children enjoyed Mindfulness Mondays. Each Monday Morning the children arrived in school and were allowed time to settle into the new school week with some mindfulness colouring and relaxing music.
