Congratulations to Laura Scollard and Katie Stack who played with the West Limerick School’s team in Mick Neville Park Rathkeale on Tuesday 5th April.
Both girls made the starting team on the day, a huge achievement with numerous highly competitive ladies football clubs across West Limerick. Katie played corner forward and scored a cracker of a goal within the first few minutes of the match and caused problems for the East team’s full back line. Laura played extremely well at full-back and was very strong in defence.
The West team lead for the majority of the match, but unfortunately lost out in the final few minutes to a goal from the East team. A disappointing finish after a very strong performance, but such a huge achievement to both girls for representing the school on the team. Well done Katie and Laura.
